After 20+ years in high-tech sales, marketing
and management, it was time for a career change. Graduating
from the “Art of Cooking” culinary program at
the Seattle Art Institute, where Kathy earned the Crystal
Chef Award, she began her first business adventure; Kathy’s
Kapers. With the support of family and friends, the business
quickly grew. She honed her skills while working at Inglewood
Golf Club and SurLaTable, volunteering and teaching. She
serves her local community providing dinners for church,
senior centers, scout events and continues to donate auction
items for fundraiser activities. Culinary is her passion
and she is living her dreams.
